Favourite trail/s:

Luge at  Canberra, Stromlo for XC

Gold Coast, Illinbah for DH.

The Mt Cootha trails are pretty much where I've been riding for 15 years, so I've definitely got a bond with those trails.

History:

At 6 years old my dad brought me to a Sunshine Series XC race located at Kurwongbah to race in the under 11's and I got second. The first time I didn’t podium for XC was my 39th race 7th years later. I've now been racing the SEQLD series for 13 years & was series leader for 8 years in a row from 2003 to 2010, winning the series double for both XC and DH both in 2008 and again in 2010.
When I was age13 I had my first Sunshine Series downhill race at Mt Cootha (yes, that's right I raced back when they were at Mt Cootha) & I got 6th in Under 13's.

Career highlights:
2013 5th in Under 23s at Oceania Championships
2013 2nd in Under 23s at National Championships

2013 1st in Under 23s at Thredbo AMC National round

2012 3rd in Under 19s at National Championships
2012 4th in Under 19s at Oceania Championships
2012 6th in Elite at the Cycle Epic 97km
2012 Under 19 Champion at the 3Plus3 2 day XC Enduro
2012 QLD Series Elite XC Champion

Goals:     To achieve as much as possible at World Championships in Cross Country before concentrating on doing the same for Gravity Enduro.

Preferred riding:     XC, DH and dirt jumps.

Idols:  Aiden Lefmann, my coach and mentor. He is a clean smooth rider and a poker face that will mentally kill you in a race. As my coaches, Aiden Lefmann and Anna Beck from Cyclinic have done an amazing job doing my program and getting me through the bullshit that comes with racing, BIG THANK YOU TO THEM.

Aiden Lefmann

Downhill rider Tom Richards (also known as Jesus) has always been someone I've looked up to because of his style, he rides like no-one I’ve seen, looks like he's always under full control with total balance & fluidity. When he was racing he would always podium in Elite and race wearing just shorts & a t-shirt.
